Help me with the app

You can download the Arnab app from Google Play or the App Store.

To use the Arnab app, sign up and follow the steps on screen, verify your email and ID and get riding!

Open the Arnab app and use the map view to see the closest zones near you.

The Arnab app requires access to the internet to ensure we can track scooters and keep you safe whilst riding.

You will be able to continue riding until you end the ride using the app, at which point internet access is required.

Ensure that you are not in a no parking zone and that you are connected to the internet. Otherwise, please contact the customer support team and they will help guide you further with this.

Help me with the scooter

Before unlocking the scooter ensure the scooter has enough battery life to cover the distance you wish to travel. To unlock an Arnab scooter, open the app and click the ‘Scan QR code to ride’ button at the bottom of your screen. Scan the code on a scooter or type its ID into the app and start riding.

If your app isn’t scanning the QR code, press ’Scan QR-Code to Ride’ and then click ‘Or type in Vehicle ID’ and enter the ID displayed under the QR code on the scooter

To start riding, unlock the scooter, retract the kickstand, kick off from the scooter and hold down the accelerator on the right handlebar to speed up.

To start the scooter, kick off. Then, hold down the green to speed up. Step on the rear wheel brake to slow down and hold down the handlebar brake to bring it to a halt. 

To use the headlight press the button below the speedometer once.

The taillights automatically activate and deactivate when you unlock or lock your ride.

At the end of your journey press the ‘end ride’ button on the Arnab app and ensure you are not in a no parking zone.

Whilst it is possible, we recommend walking the scooter in order to ensure your safety as well as the safety of those around you.

Push down on the red brake button on the left side of the handlebar to stop or press your foot on the rear wheel brake.

After kicking off, hold down the green throttle button on the right side of the handlebar to speed up.

In order to change the speed mode, double press to cycle through the three speed modes that the scooter supports. The maximum speed limit is still applicable across all three modes.

The maximum speed at which you can travel depends on the zone you are in, we do this to ensure your safety. We also recommend slowing down when travelling on uneven surfaces and when taking turns on the scooter.

Yes, there is a bell on the handle bar of the scooter next to the throttle button.

To check the battery level of the scooter, tap the icon of your scooter and all information regarding it will be displayed, including battery life.

There is a bar below the speedometer on the scooter display that shows the battery level of the scooter currently.

If you have any problems with the scooter during your journey please contact customer services as soon as possible.

In the event that the scooter turns off midway through your journey, you will only be billed for the time you have ridden. As an extra precaution, please press the ‘end ride’ button if any messages of the sort appear on your device.

If you cannot connect to the scooter please ensure you are

  • connected to the internet
  • using the latest version of the Arnab app
  • riding a scooter with enough battery life for your journey
  • connected to location services
  • If the above doesn’t fix your problem, please contact customer services

If the app doesn’t display your scooter whilst riding, please ensure you are

The scooter is not designed to accelerate without being kick started by the user to ensure safety. If that does not work then try to change speed setting by double pressing the button below the speedometer. Please refer to our explanatory video for more detailed help. Otherwise, please contact customer services.

No, water will cause damage to the components.

There is a bar below the speedometer on the scooter display that shows the battery level of the scooter currently.

Please inform us by reporting defects through the app or by contacting us.

Only 1 rider per scooter. All riders must have their own scooters and Arnab accounts.

Help me with payments

To view pricing information please refer to the app and select scooters in your local area for specific pricing.

You will be billed for the time you have rented the scooter; from unlocking till ending the ride.

In the event your phone battery dies before you can end the ride, walk the scooter to a parking zone and contact customer services as soon as possible.

Help me with making sure i'm safe

Yes, helmets are required when riding Arnab scooters at all times to ensure safety. Helmets will be available from our website.

You must be 18 years or over and hold a valid ID in order to ride an Arnab scooter

Unless permitted by local laws, you are not allowed to ride on sidewalks and must ride in bike lanes. Riding on roads is not allowed and is banned.

The safety screens are there to provide you information on how to keep yourself and others safe whilst riding the scooter. They provide instructions and rules you should abide by in order to ensure your safety.

Before initiating a ride, please ensure you’ve viewed and understood our safety video or have gone through our safety screens,

Only 1 rider per scooter. All riders must have their own scooters and Arnab accounts.

Get medical assistance as soon as possible. We have insurance in place, please contact customer service for applicability of this to you.

The speed at which you can travel depends on the zone you are in, we do this to ensure your safety. We also recommend slowing down when travelling on uneven surfaces and when taking turns on the scooter. In the case of broken roads or humps, please walk the scooter.

There are several safety features on the Arnab scooter. There are lights on the front of the scooter that can be activated by pressing the button below the speedometer once. There are also lights and reflectors placed along the foot-board and the brake.

Whilst you can carry items with you on the scooter please ensure they are safely kept and do not affect your balance on the scooter. There is a maximum limit of 95kgs total on the scooter.

Help me with my account

In order to sign up, download the Arnab app and in the menu click ‘Sign Up’ and follow the instructions on screen.

We need your email address for account creation as well as to ensure that we can send you any information regarding the account as well as invoices

Yes, credit card details are required in order to ensure you are able to pay for your ride.

Unfortunately, in the interest of safety, this is not possible since we need to ensure that you are 18 or over.

In the interest of safety, we require you to be 18 or over. ID is the method of proof we use for this. All of your data will be handled securely through our system.

In order to update your account information, log onto the Arnab app, press the 3 Line menu on the right hand side and then press ‘My Account.’ From there, you can edit all of your account information as required.

In order to delete your profile, please contact us and provide your email address and send a copy of the ID you have sent for account activation and we will process your request.

In the case that you forget your username or password, contact customer support for a link to reset your password and to remind you of your username.
